The predoctoral internship at the Alaska VA Healthcare System in Anchorage is accredited by the American Psychological Association.*
Our internship seeks applicants who are graduate students in good standing in a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology program approved by APA or its equivalent, and are seeking a generalist training with an emphasis on cultural diversity and service delivery in rural and frontier healthcare environments.
Notification of acceptance: As a member of the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC), this internship abides by the APPIC Policy on Internship Offers and Acceptances, and participates in the APPIC computer-matching program. No person at this training facility will offer, solicit, accept or use any ranking-related information regarding any intern applicant.
