Internship Program

The predoctoral internship at the VA Central Iowa Health Care System (VACIHCS) - Knoxville and Des Moines Divisions - is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the American Psychological Association. The next site visit will be during the academic year 2011.

Applicants for internship must be doctoral students in an APA-approved clinical or counseling psychology program, who have approval for internship status from their University Training Director. They must be U.S. citizens. Applications for internship positions are due at VACIHCS by November 15. For applications converted into an electronic format, please follow APPIC's instructions.
