Postdoctoral Fellowship Program

The four postdoctoral positions at the St. Louis VA Medical Center were implemented in 2009, following success of the Primary Care Mental Health Integration postdoctoral residency in 2008. We are currently working toward accreditation of our postdoctoral positions. Primary Care Mental Health Integration (PCMHi) offers training in the provision of services within the primary care medical setting. The PTSD position offers training in the treatment of combat and deployment related post-trauma for all eras of service. The Psychosocial Rehabilitation Recovery Center is dedicated to providing integrated psychosocial treatment and resources to chronically and seriously mentally ill veteran patients. We also offer a two year neuropsychology training program. Applicants must have completed all requirements of an APA-accredited doctoral program in clinical or counseling psychology, including an APA-accredited internship, prior to the start of postdoctoral training.
