Postdoctoral Fellowship Program
The postdoctoral fellowship at the West Los Angeles VA Healthcare Center is not yet accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the American Psychological Association. An application for accreditation is in process, and a site visit is expected by 2010.
We are seeking applicants who have strong skills in general assessment, intervention, and clinical research, with specific interests and training in their chosen emphasis area. Applicants should have personal characteristics necessary to function well as a doctoral-level professional in a medical center environment and in interdisciplinary treatment settings. Our selection criteria specifically focus on background training and experience and the ability of the applicant to clearly articulate training goals and professional aspirations that we feel are consistent with the VA mission. We seek the best fit between applicants and our training program.
